Arsenal have been the London club that musicians and designers end up at for a long time, and the crowd at the Emirates looks a lot like the city. This season they are also the champions.
Champions
The club calls last season its first league title in 22 years. Arsenal also reached the Champions League final in Budapest.
The summer

Mikel Arteta added five players to the men’s squad. From the club’s list:
- Piero Hincapié, made permanent from Bayer Leverkusen after his loan
- Illan Meslier, free from Leeds United
- Christos Tzolis, from Club Brugge
- Bruno Guimarães, from Newcastle United
- Ezri Konsa, from Aston Villa
Leandro Trossard went to Beşiktaş, Gabriel Jesus to Barcelona, Jakub Kiwior to Porto, Christian Nørgaard to Everton, Fábio Vieira to Hamburg and Karl Hein to Werder Bremen. Reiss Nelson was released. Ethan Nwaneri went on loan to Borussia Dortmund and Tommy Setford to Stevenage. Gabriel Martinelli isn’t on the club’s list, but FootballTransfers reported in September that he joined Al-Hilal for €70m.
The women’s team signed Ona Batlle, Georgia Stanway and Misa Rodríguez, among others.
The table
Seven wins from eight, 21 points, level at the top.
Still Tuned, from the table after Everton, 24 October 2026
On Saturday Arsenal beat Everton 2-0 at a rain-soaked Emirates. Ezri Konsa scored his first goal for the club after seven minutes, and Gabriel headed in Ben White’s cross on his 200th Premier League appearance. That makes seven wins from eight, 21 points, level with Manchester City at the top and behind only on goal difference.
Next up are Fleetwood Town in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday, then Liverpool away next Sunday.
Come to a game

The football is good, the crowd is young and the songs are better than their reputation. Whoever you support, a night at the Emirates this season is worth it.
